Bluegrass Stereotypes: Where Are We?

       Hi Ted,

Appreciate you keeping Bluegrass in the light on "No Depression" - you are the roving reporter of bluegrass, on the road doing the festivals, making great videos.

There should be an IBMA award for folk like you.  Personally, I like bluegrass the way it is. It is a regional genre, changing from region to region.  My favorite CD of last year was "Stringworks" by Kristen Scott Benson, banjo player for the Grascals, with many friends.  The Grascals are pretty traditional. Bluegrass bands may basically play the same instruments, but have their own sound.

      Keep at it Ted
