From Doc Watson to a Sun Records Tribute: Ten Notable Roots Music Releases

Great to see a trickle of (non-recycled) activity on the site.   Another release I'm really looking forward to is Sam Baker's Land of Doubt. Hopefully someone at ND will review Sam's disc.

And there is Slaid Cleaves' new disc which features "Drunken Barber's Hand".

Great article over at Rolling Stone on Slaid Cleaves.  I gotta get my fix somewhere. Sorry for cheating on you ND.

Slaid Cleaves is a good one...I have all of his Rounder stuff, and he did one on Jimmy LaFave's label, but thanks for the link to the new stuff...
