It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

No Depression's Year-End Readers Poll

The link doesn’t seem to be working.

Cant make the link to the poll work on my ipad

Try again - - I just voted and all went smoothly (using PC computer).  The ND folks were also responsive to my requests for additions to the master list.

How can we view peoples ballots?

I have the same question.

You can't. The ability to view individual ballots was something that was an option a few years back, but that voting system turned out to be way too complicated and cumbersome to repeat. So this year, like last year, we opted for a much easier tactic: Google poll. There are no "ballots" to share. But if people want to share their lists in the comments on this post, they can go ahead and do that. (You still have to vote in the actual poll for the list to count toward the final tally, though.)

I cannot get the link to work either

Link not working...using my laptop.

just changed browser and link now works

This was so hard this year!  I had about 20 more that were equally as good as the one's I chose.

If I vote for Dylan's "Triplicate" and the eight CD compilation "Trouble No More" does that count as two or eleven albums?

If you vote for triplicate should I question your sanity?

Yes, you should Matthew. And if I vote for all eleven discs I should be either banned from No Depression or given a weekly column.

Most of my top 10 for 2017 isn't on the current list. I'll send suggested additions via e-mail.

My 10, in no particular order (well, I guess it's alphabetical):

Special Mention: A couple albums that aren't on the list:

Chris Thile - Thanks for Listening. (just got it and enjoying the hell out of it)

Sound Ministry Gurus - Silver Bullet. It's billed as rock opera, but concept album would be just as accurate. Story of a veteran returned from Afghanistan. Alt.rock/hard rock with literate lyrics and variety of musical styles. One of the best of the year.
