Pairing Tom Brosseau with Modern Art

I couldn't absorb anything Brosseau was singing even while watching the videos intended to promote and complement his songs, so I couldn't imagine trying to listen to songs while taking in an art exhibit.

Then at the end you mentioned that the 'artwork' you were viewing was that of Andy Warhol, Yoko Ono and their ilk.  Yeah.  That would leave me lots of brain cells left over for Brosseau's music too.

The last exhibit I saw at the now-venerable Museum Of Modern Art explored the mutual admiration and rivalry between Matisse and Picasso.  Sigh ...

Excellent videos though.

And I always enjoy your writing, Ed!  (If I may be so informal, or would you prefer to be addressed as Easy Ed?)

Matisse and Picasso are still hanging, as is Van Gogh. I mentioned Ono and Warhol since they each had dedicated exhibitions. The real reason I went was to see Zoe Leonard's Analogue series of photographs. And feel free to call me whatever you'd like. Those who call me Easy know that I'm not.
