The Ugly Cousin Brothers

Hailing from Woodinville, WA and acknowledged in Verity's #100bands100Days as an "americana powerhouse," the Ugly Cousin Brothers have recently devolved from a guitar/fiddle duo into an over-produced gang possibly aiming a bit too high. Their latest release, Passport (SIDE 1), is a 14 minute song-cycle chronicling Cascadian life in the time of Trump. Borrowing from Bitches Brew, Looking Glass, Charlie Louvin, The Grateful Dead, Leonard Cohen and the Colville nation (in that order), the UCB's work their way through a variety of genres to relay an historically accurate, if haphazard, story that only an Northwest Americana band could tell. The Ugly Cousin Brothers are Nate Fisher and Charlie Heinemann.
