This excellent quality video shows the band, still in their infancy, on May 3, 1968, at the Low Library Plaza on the Columbia University campus in New York City. This is a flashback to the good old days with the Grateful Dead laying down a hair-raising, early-day rendition of “Cryptical Envelopment” and a pared-down but absolutely blistering version of “The Other One.”
