The first video off Matt Ellis’ new album, “The Greatest Escape”, is now available.
“Thank You Los Angeles” is a nod to Ellis’ current home base in California.
Ellis comments:
“I think every home town deserves a song, especially after a decade of experiences.
L.A. grows on you in strange ways. I mean it’s beauty isn’t on the surface, and you’ve
just got to take the good with the bad if you want to stick around.”
The clip was directed by Phil Harder (Afghan Wigs, Low, Prince) over two afternoons
cruising around L.A. in a 1972 Buik Skylark Convertible.
Thank you to Shane Barach, JD Narro, Phil Harder, Hernan Barangan, Scott Passaglia and David Chontos. This clip wouldn’t have been possible without you.
