Forgot to post this before xmas- top 11 for 2011
Well, Im a music promoter, musician & friend of Alan Harrison here in Newcastle Uk = not much spare money at all. Therefore buying albums isnt a regular occurance. Its food on the table first Im afraid. I will buy The Gourds new album eventually, so that might have made my 2011 list & Robert Ellis – The Great Rearranger , which I bought this year, would have made my top 3, had it not been released in 2009 ! Anyway to put the top record straight ( pun pun) HFTRR is actually a combilation released on Loose Records here in Uk of their two cds. Its still my number one for the year though !

BTW- My Top three live shows for the year were comeback’s of a kind, both @ Cluny2 theatre in Newcastle. with Ronnie Lane’s old Uk Band “Slim Chance” & the acclaimed local duo from 1980’s “All Because The Lady Loves” ( Check them out) plus a killer show I put on at the wonderful Live Theatre with Alejandro Escovedo & David Puckingham.
