    Healing Spells have recently released the enticing new EP, “Sanctuary,” for your listening pleasure. The artist who hails from Tokyo, brings an eclectic sound to the table that weaves in an intricate fashion throughout the release. The moniker of Tokyo producer Past Lives, he brings an experimental sound which recalls artists such as Four Tet. With everything and anything as fair game, he comes alive on the release. Filled with gorgeously crafted pieces, the dreamy nature of the EP take his artistry to a whole new level. Standout pieces on the record for me include “Half Animal,” and “Infinity Pond,” which show the very essence of Healing Spells as an artist.
