    Luke James Shaffer swoons the hearts of hopeless romantics with his latest single “Last First Kiss.” Dropping today, June 22nd, the singer-songwriter shares with us the moment he met his future wife and had his literal last first kiss. “It was one of those memories that was so vivid to me that I had to write about it. In the moment I obviously didn’t realize that this was the last time I would have a first kiss, but that’s what makes it so special. It may sound cheesy but that night changed my life. My wife is my rock, and my biggest inspiration” Lukerecounts.

     

    His pure and raw vocals express his bittersweet feelings eloquently through the vivid imagery in his lyrics. The hints of trumpet and layered backup vocals elevate this track from a typical Luke James’ kickback folk track to an upbeat, Americana ballad perfect for a slow dance with a significant other. Luke‘s musicianship truly shines on “Last First Kiss” and we can’t wait to hear the rest of the project!
