Catlow Serenade A Whimsical Train Ride In Their New Music Video For “My Sun”
Vancouver-based indie/alt-rock band Catlow has released their music video for “My Sun”. The video features a dreamy glittering sky, views of deserts, mountains, and fields from the window of a train, and a whimsical serenade from Catlow.
Catlow, led by Natasha Thirsk and long-time guitarist-collaborator Jay Slye and accompanied by accomplished Western Canadian musician, David Beckingham (Hey Ocean!), explores the intricacies of an intimate relationship in an upbeat Americana styling. “My Sun” is part of their latest studio release that will rock your end of summer afternoons, and serenade you fireside in the night. Vancouver Music Review writes, “[Catlow] envelops the listener in musical bliss.”
In their newest album Main of Nowhere Catlow stays true to their Indie Alt-Rock roots and enchanting melodies in tracks like “Scrapes”, while also exploring a new era of Catlow in twangy Alt-Country music, reminiscent of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, with songs like “My Sun.” “Main of Nowhere” is out on vinyl, CD and downloads in Canada and the U.S., along with 2 music videos and tours to support.
