The Sins is one of those bands that I will always listen to, I only own one of their albums, The Last One Kills, but I have heard multiple times everything they have online. Whenever I feel dark and destructive (and that is quite frequently) I listen to The Sins to let it burn out. By adding a violinist to an otherwise guitar driven sound they have made themselves unique.
To quote their bio “The Sins have boldly paved their own path” and they are still walking that path, they have 3 studio albums under their belt and a live album all released through the independent label SINister Records, which was founded to the format to get the band’s music to their audience.
Comprising of 5 guys, VH-vocal/guitar, Lee Tillman-lead/rhythm/slide guitar, Jyri Glynn-violin/keyboards, Fish Jones-bass, Jamie Knox-drums/percussion, from various musical background The Sins have come together to eat away the light and plunge us into darkness….I’m kidding, they have come together to make music and GOOD music, the only reason these guys are not getting all the radio play they want (and they probably don’t give a shit) is because they write and play by their own rules. They are not out to impress anyone, they don’t need to, they play good rock and roll music.
