Top 15 of 2010
As usual, I spent most of the year seeking out new music. Much of that “new music” was records that came out before I was born, but there was plenty of great music that came out in 2010. Some of these records are by artists I’ve followed for years (Willie Nelson, Mark Lanegan, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, T-Bone Burnett, Tom Petty), some are friends of mine who inspire me with their music (Derek Hoke, Zach Broocke, Matt Hopper, Brian Ritchey), and at least one was a real surprise from a 70-year old who I’ve never paid much attention to (Tom Jones!). I’m sure I missed a few records this last year, so please feel free to let me know what records you would have included on your list.
