partial revised playlist KALW PQ MLK special 1/15/11
Last night, the ENCO DADPro computer at KALW was playing the special for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, when half-way through Pete Seeger singing “We Shall Overcome”, the sound dropped out. Then it came back, then it dropped out again, then back again, then gone again. JoAnn Mar, the operator on duty, and host of the program Folk Music And Beyond, came to the rescue in and filled the last few minutes of the program with these songs:

Perhaps the original disc from 2004 was too old, and while the ‘rip’ from CD to machine looked like it worked, apparently it didn’t. Next time, I’ll have a fresh new copy, or I might remix the whole show again from scratch. I just remixed the last 19 minutes of the show.
Peace,
Kevin
