This Video was Shot on Chuck Suchy’s family farm south of Mandan in North Dakota. We wandered around his property searching for locations to shoot. This was the first location we picked on this sunny afternoon. We were near his pasture and his daughter was working in the tractor while we recorded. His son, Ben, lent a hand with recording.
This song, takes on a melancholy meaning for me as Chuck performs it beside this beautiful broken down car. Certainly the mass out migration facing rural communities throughout this country cannot be closer to my heart at that very moment.
