Tom Durden was my Mom’s( Betty “Boot’s” Gilbert) first husband . My Dad, Chuck Hatfield( Steel player) was her second and last marriage. But she did give me, one of hers and Chuck’s 5 kids, a 45rpm recording of Heartbreak Hotel, sang by Tom Durden as it was originally written, and before Elvis made his own changes to it. However, it has a crack in it, but would like to know where I can safely get it repaired or if it can even be fixed. I am in Las Vegas, Nevada. I’d have to go get it out to tell you the label..either Capitol or Atlantic. I just know it’s red with black lettering.
