Christmas in West Hollywood

Just posted a video I put together a few minutes ago(hope it gets approved) called “Christmas in West Hollywood”.. The song is about a guy I see around who dresses like Jesus and some thoughts on how the REAL Jesus’ message has been bastardized,commercialized and marketed- often by those whose motives seem to contradict what history tells us he said and stood for.
The holiday season seemed right time to dust it off and share it. No time or money to do a “serious” recording right now, so I got a wild hair up my butt and recorded it on my laptop, slapped some titles on it and posted it. Not very “professional” , but timely. I wanted to get it out NOW, not when it’s”ready”(it takes a while for my “real” songs to gestate- this ‘un is kinda half-baked).
The song is actually longer by 2 or 3 verses, but I think this gets the general point across. Tough time,and I know I’m not alone in hoping that we get things turned around- rather than be pedantic about it, I choose humor(or what I call”humor”) to make my point. Maybe the only gift you can afford to give is kindness..really its the most precious one you could give..
