Academy Award-winning singer/songwriter Ryan Bingham will release the album Junky Star, available August 31 on Lost Highway Records. In anticipation of his upcoming release, Bingham will begin previewing the new material online through the launch of the “Bingham Bootleg Video Series” an original collection of unreleased, acoustic versions of 12 highly anticipated songs. Shot live in a variety of settings, the videos will feature Bingham performing solo and showcase each song in its most stripped down form.
The first official single and bootleg video release off the forthcoming Junky Star album will be “Depression. ” The single will be available at all major digital retailers starting August 10. Many of the new songs are inspired by Bingham’s own personal observations & experiences from his travels and deeply reflect upon the current condition of our country. Additional videos in the “Bingham Bootleg Video Series” will debut over the next few months and will correspond to the 11 remaining tracks from Junky Star (see the complete track listing here.)
