• Some Early Releases I Am Looking Forward To In 2010

    So now that all the countdowns have finished and the and best albums have been anointed for another year and decade let’s move forward. Here is a list of cd’s that I am looking forward to picking up in January. What are yours?

    1) Laura Veirs – July Flame (releasing 1/12/10)

    2) Spoon – Transference (releasing 1/19/10)

    3) Patty Griffin – Downtown Church (releasing 1/26/10)

    4) Vampire Weekend – Contra (releasing 1/12/010)

    5) The Eels – End Times (releasing 1/19/10)

    Also some other releases and reissues that I am curious about

    1) Elvis Costello & The Attractions – The Costello Show: Live At Hollywood High
    2 Van Morrison – TB Sheets (Remastered)
    3) Blue Rodeo – The Things We Left Behind
    4) Peter Gabriel – Scratch My Back

    I am sure there are others that I haven’t found out yet so feel free to enlighten me. It looks like we are off to another great year of music.
