On this day I learn that Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora have been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, accompanied appropriately by a performance from American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry.
Is it just me or does Dave sound a little too apathetic for someone bestowing an honor? I feel ya, Dave.
But also on this day I am reminded in one more week we’ll have new music from Levon Helm. Maybe there’s a place for me in this world after all.
