    as i am only 15 i do not know how these two albums affected the 80’s but i can imagine.
    These two albums are amazing and by possibly the greatest band ever. so in the 80’s i can imagine people being changed by some of the lyrics on these albums, i mean “the trees will bend, the cities wash away, the city on the river, there is a girl wothout dream”, they are very moving lyrics and the beat to them are so catchy know one could ever get them out of there heads. All in all i think this was a new generation of indie and roots music and changed what we here today forever. if it wasn’t for them then what would music be like now?
