New Music: Singer-songwriter Jennifer Harper Reveals Her “Little White Lies”

We all tell fibs from time to time, or as we delicately call them, “little white lies.” Anyone in the corporate world or politics can expect to tell or hear them several times a day. One of our previously featured artists, Jennifer Harper, gives us a song that flat out describes how one can use them when getting over a former lover. The chorus swells with a flourish of strings that surround Harper’s expressive vocals, as she sings dolefully, “I lie for you / yeah I tell you those little white lies / it helps get me through / when I tell you those sweet little lies…maybe somehow, it turns into the truth.”
Whether or not we realize it, we all tell those little white lies in various aspects of our lives. Here’s a song that doesn’t sugar coat it.
“Little White Lies” is the latest single from her debut EP, All the Love, which comes out September 25, 2015.
