Twisted Pine Premiere New Video For “I Miss Talking”
Lots of songs lament the “good old days,” but few do so quite as directly as Twisted Pine’s new track “I Miss Talking.” The Boston-based acoustic band explore the joys of simply having a real-life conversation in the harmony-heavy song, which, in addition to extolling the virtues of face-to-face interaction, provides band members with ample time for some pretty killer solos.
A new video for the tune takes its analog sentiment a step further, featuring the quartet in a number of retro-seeming locations, from an old-school movie theater to, gasp, outside in a lush green park.
“Old fashioned and reminiscent, this song tells of a time when human interaction was more important than the technology people choose to bury themselves in these days,” vocalist Kathleen Parks says. “’I Miss Talking’ is about love driven by conversation and creativity, where the two main characters are both safe and completely honest, and, at times, can interact without saying a word.”
“I Miss Talking” is off Twisted Pine’s recently released self-titled debut album. Watch the video for “I Miss Talking” below.
