Staring Into Nothing has quickly become one of our favorite new finds this year. Their epic new record “Power,” astonishes from start to finish with an eclectic batch of songs that will leave you craving more. They’re a little bit of prog and a whole lot of rock, that takes the genre to whole new levels. Their unique lyricism and storytelling approach, makes the record not only an artistic artform but a labor of love. Throughout the record I was intrigued by pieces such as “Obey,” and “Big Brother.” Songs such as “Information Crime,” which clocks is in at over 9 minutes, leads to an epic sound that drives us into “Towers (I. Ectasy / II. Agony), an 18 minute song that will completely blow your mind. Staring Into Nothing’s most recent lyric video for “Puritans,” will intrigue you over and over again, as you’ll want to dive deeper into what the band has to offer. With an all-star line up cast of musicians Staring Into Nothing is Steve Rogers, Savannah Rogers and Kurt Barabas. Helping out on the record is musical friends such aslegendary producer and mixer Mark Needham, drummer Matt Chamberlain, guitarist David Levita, and Pop Levi and Andrea Meli on backing vocals. Get ready to rock with Staring Into Nothing…it’s a good one, we promise you.
