    Jim Byrnes in a damn fine bluesman, but his latest album “I Hear the Wind in the Wires” is a cover of country classics (plus a song by Tom Waits.) Jim visited Vancouver’s Electric Owl for a CD launch show with producer Steve Dawson leading the band.
