Too much good music, not enough time to listen …
After being away at a conference for one week, I’m still digging out and getting caught up on my work, which includes discovering some new music.
This week, I plan to finally to give a first listen – and a close listen – to all the discs that have arrived in my mailbox over the past few weeks. These include: Hayden (Us Alone), Wake Owl (Wild Country), The Matinee (We Swore We’d See The Sunrise, Henry Wagons, Daniel Romano, and a pair of upcoming releases from my favorite Windy City label Bloodshot Records(Wayne Hancock, Ride and Roger Knox (Stranger in My Land).
Off to brew some coffee now; then, the listening session begins. I’ll let you know my impressions later in the week. Until then, let me know if there are any other great new roots releases I need to add to my pile.
