Equipment failure didn’t stop Tift Merritt who sang to the rafters at the Walker Center

Without missing a beat during an equipment malfunction Tift Merrett and Alexandra Sauser-Monnig just went out to the edge of the stage lip and performed the song with lung power alone sans a vocal mic. Have never seen that done in my twenty-five years of attendance at Merlefest but it brought a smile to a lot of faces in the audience.
