    Classic recording of “So What,” from “Kind of Blue,” believed to be the highest-selling jazz album of all time. The same week it was released, Miles was beaten up on Aug. 25, 1959, by a police officer outside “Birdland,” for not “moving along.” He pointed out that his name was on the marquee.
