Amanda Lamb Releases The Impressive “We Dance We Run”
Amanda Lamb has just unleashed her charming EP, We Dance We Run, with the lead single “Barefoot,” causing a nice amount of traction. Throughout the record Amanda Lamb brings to life her heartfelt stories that prove to be honest and breathtaking all at once. The new EP channels her emotional range, while bringing in elements of her modern Country tone to create an enchanting collection of songs.
“Barefoot,” which is the lead single from the record, shows an honest story about the beauty of living in the South. The album, which was recorded and produced in Nashville; notably with Kent Wells known for his work with Dolly Parton, Lamb brings her own sweet twist into the country genre and holds nothing back. The result is a radio ready record that would fit nicely on any Country radio station big or small.
Though not all of Lamb’s songs are a ray of sunshine as the album takes a deeper turn within tracks such as “Marionette” (a troubling love song) and “Edge of Midnight” (about a ‘doubtful heroine). Lighthearted songs also shine on the record with pieces such as “See Through Heart” (co-written by Melissa Bollea), bringing out the shy yet playful side in Lamb.
Amanda Lamb’s We Dance We Run is the example of modern Country perfection, and provides a perfect soundtrack for the Country fans at heart.
