    Armonite are back in action, which is the perfect way to kick off the Summer. Currently sharing their latest album “And the Stars Above,” the band go above and beyond to create a record that is not only musically brilliant, but textually stunning. Combining elements of prog rock throughout, the group has a little something to offer listeners of all genres. Hailing from Pavia, Italy, everything and anything is fair game for the band. Throughout the record we hear stunning elements of swirling guitars and a solid rhythm section that will make your head spin. Standout tracks on the record for me include “District Red,” and “Next Ride” which help to show the essence of the band. The brainchild of composer Paolo Fosso and violinist Jacopo Bigi, their sound just keeps on growing; bigger, faster, stronger. We’re enticed to hear what the group has coming down the line in the next few months. Take a listen, below.
