“In All Honesty” has a warm Appalachian feel, with acoustic guitar and vocals beginning the song. Each rotation of the chorus introduces new instruments to the mix; bass, lead guitar melodies, drums, percussion bells, and more rhythmic guitar. Vocals are perfectly set, and emotive as they describe the story of a person soul-searching, in pursuit of love or a human connection so strong that it makes life worth living and exploring. The overall tone of the song creates a contemplative urgency to the lyrics, like getting lost on a long hike as night begins to fall. “…And in all honesty, I’ve been searching for someone, someone like me (to set me free)”
