• Luke James Shaffer is Bold on “Volume One”

    2018 has been a wild year so far with many up and downs around the world but some among us are still able to send messages of love and staying true to oneself, reminding us all what’s important  in life. Luke James Shaffer is among these people as he releases what is likely some of his best work to date in his new EP, Volume One. The Ohio native has been working hard to make major strides this year with outstanding single releases such as “Pressure;” “How Sweet The Sound;” and the stunning ballad written for his wife, “ Last First Kiss,” which has garnered over 15 thousand streams on Spotify since its release on June 22nd.

    Shaffer has been actively pursuing a music career for the past seven years and his hard work and talent are clearly displayed through his many accomplishments including; achieving youtube stardom with over 1 million views; 2 consecutive top 50 placings on the talent show American idol; and most recently reaching top 20 on the iTunes singer- songwriter chart.

    With Volume One Shaffer speaks his truth, with stellar driving uptempo songs  like “Pressure” or the heavy bluesy jam, “TINACS,” as well as alluring ballads in “Last First  Kiss,” and “Slow Down.”
    “Slow Down” is really stands out as it  showcases Luke’s ability to entrance listeners with his bluesy guitar riffs and sweet vocals. A touching sense of longing and desire brightly shine through his emotional and authentic delivery.

    Shaffer could be compared to major artist like Ed Sheeran or Mumford & Sons, but he is quickly carving out a path all his own. One can only wait in anticipation of  what this young man has in store.
