PREMIERE: Yellow Feather — “Lucille”

We’re leaving back porch weather all too quickly here in the Northeast. For that one last nice day that I just know we’ll have, Old Fort, NC-based Yellow Feather has “Lucille.” Their debut album, And Gold, drops on December 1st but until then, take this sun-dappled, devil-may-care lover’s spat. The song has a cozy rhythm, rueful pedal steel, and the kind of hang-dog lyrics that make you chuckle and reach for a beer.
