Matt Westin’s song, “Farm Town” from his Bryan Cole-produced debut album, “Legacy,” begins with a lot of energy which is carried throughout the entire song. This high energy is great as it really got me in the mood as a listener to anticipate what was going to come next. This is definitely a song that I can see being played on the radio as it is radio friendly for all country fans to enjoy. A few positive notes are the following: The melody is easy to follow, the rhyme scheme is on point, and the interaction of all instruments fit in perfectly. Furthermore, the song has a nice and easy structure so that listeners can follow along. Also, the guitar solo was a great addition to the song and fit in nicely. I think the song is good and I would recommend this song to country music fans.
After the untimely 2016 death of his father from cancer-related causes, Matt Westin decided to honor his father’s memory by walking away from a promising engineering career, to focus on his music, something his father had staunchly supported. Matt is an International Music and Entertainment Association winner, for Male Country Artist of the Year. He is currently #44 on the International Country Artists chart at http://www.countrymusicchart.net/1-7-april-2018.htm. For more information on Matt Westin, please visit http://www.mattwestin.com.
