VIDEO: Pete Mancini — “Foothill Freeway”

Ever want to see Pete Mancini hang out on his porch? (Probably — he’s a handsome fella!) The video was directed by Jamie Frey and Joe Wakeman, SEEN YR VIDEO Productions. “Foothill Freeway” is a damn beautiful song to boot, and if you haven’t listened yet you can read my review here.

“Foothill Freeway” takes the Springsteen bildungsroman and turns it into a peaceful folk song. The pathos and sharp writing are still there, but softened by some good old country music loneliness.
