VIDEO: The Fugitives Determined to “See This Winter Out”
The Fugitives recently released a monumental debut with The Promises of Strangers. The band’s light folk rock is the deceptively strong foundation of weighty songs: songs about falling in love, songs about dying, songs about feeling homesick, songs about the Pulse massacre in Orlando. Vancouver’s Brendan MacLeod and Adrian Glynn bring their experience as actors to bear in an album of richly detailed character studies. “See This Winter Out” is no exception. It’s an affectionate examination of a relationship in all its uncertainties and strength.
