Andreas Werner
Andreas Werner is the founder, owner and president of Crazy Chester Music. Andreas is an
enterpreneur, record producer, songwriter and a walking encyclopedia of American music.
Andreas grew up in Switzerland and discovered his love for American music early on, an
affection that eventually led him to relocate to Nashville. As a producer, he's been working with many
of the players and songwriters who created southern soul and rock & roll.
Production Style
Andreas' goal is to make the records combining the soulful and timeless sounds of the 60s and early
70s with an excitingly new, yet organic element. He likes to record as much as possible live in the
studio, like they used to do it on all those classic recordings. That's how the magic happens when the
players lock into a groove and play off of each other. It's a true collaboration!
He creates a warm studio atmosphere and makes sure that the artists he works with can display their
full talents and abilities and create a product that they’re highly satisfied with. Many a time this also
includes a guiding hand through song selection and the songwriting process.
Andreas is the king of preâ€production. He prepares every session meticulously so he can get the most
out of the precious studio time. This helps keeping the recording budget as low as possible.
