Amie O’Hearn  is a freelance music writer, reviewer, critic, blogger and fan when she isn’t busy holding down her day job and teaching her daughter all that music has to offer. Her work has also appeared on Grateful Web and she recently accepted a position as Artist Relations Manager with the  Sound of Boston. Music has always been a family affair for the O’Hearn clan. She was supposed to be named Prudence  and her parents took her to first Bangles concert at age seven. Through pop- quizzes in the front seat of her dad’s jeep, she came  to know the names of everyone in Van Halen and U2 by the time she was 5.
