Just last month I had the pleasure of spending the week in Kansas City at the Crown Center with around 2000 Folkies from all over the world. A wonderful blend of folk, country, Americana, and roots music from various winds […]
Banner Kidd is with Kidd Production Group. KPG is a network veteran producers, songwriters, musicians, engineers and studios providing affordable, national quality production to singer/songwriters, artists, and for advertising with custom branding music/jingles.
KPG founder Banner Kidd earned $15.00 on his first gig as a freshman in high school, and since then hasn't looked back. Music and audio production has been his career of choice, except for a short few, unadvised years, as a financial services representative. Banner is a songwriter, jingle writer, bassist, lyricist, project manager, and an expert at musical branding. He has been instrumental in placing hundreds of jingles, either written by him or co-written with others, including his long time friend and collaborator, KPG Creative Partner, Chris Liepe. Banner has been a live musician in a band that recorded first with Chuck Surack at Sweetwater Sound back in the early 80's, receiving some national airplay and flirting with a label contract. Banner's experience includes radio management, and voice acting. He is married with 4 children and 2 grandchildren, and loves to spend time with them and with his church family, where Banner serves as an elder and as a member of the worship band.
