I'm the design and user experience lead for FreshGrass/No Depression, and I also do front-end development. I've worked for years in tech design and development, marrying it whenever possible with my love for music. Examples: I'm a partner in Local Music Vibe ("Live local music - wherever local happens to be"); as a producer at LucasArts, I brought in Roy Rogers to record a game soundtrack.
I also play and put on shows. A songwriter since my teens, I attended the inaugural session of Camp Copperhead, Steve Earle’s songwriting camp. Every year my wife and I put on an intimate music festival on our property in Sonoma County. In 2012, I organized a centennial tribute to Woody Guthrie in Santa Rosa, Calif., starring Ramblin’ Jack Elliott. Introducing Ramblin’ Jack from the stage was one of the highlights of my life.
