This set is somewhat interchangeable for me. See what I mean about lists? Numbers are arbitrary, at least for the middle group. I’m dead serious about my top three though. Oh, the anticipation. 6. Ian Tyson, Raven Singer Not much […]

Time for the lists. I have strong feelings about lists, sometimes. I could get all academic about it – why list your favourites when your favourites are probably going to change in a couple weeks? What constitutes ‘the best’ when […]
Friday wraps up a good concert year for me. These years happen rarely; the last one was 2008, when I got to see George Jones, Jim White, Pete Seeger, NKOTB, and even the Yoshida Brothers (okay, that was a bit […]

In what seems to be my style lately, I’m going to review Ian Tyson’s album Raven somewhere in this post. When I started, I realized I couldn’t do a straight-up review. Anyway, what’s the point – I think he’s doing […]
Recently, I bought my first ever ticket to a Rush concert. I saw the ad in the paper, screeched about it for a minute, bought a ticket online. Then I jumped around the house. A lot. My parents were around at […]
