For the last several years I have worked as a freelance music journalist, publishing regularly with a handful of publications. Mostly I do it for the press passes to shows and free releases for review, etc, because I am a complete music nerd whose tastes include a variety of genres and subgenres. Roots music is one of my favorites, though.
