The very impressive Compass Records act “I Draw Slow” played the Watson Stage, Walker Center, Traditional Tent and the Dance Tent all in one day at Merlefest.

Tift Merritt managed to pull in a decent crowd for her Walker Center show opposite the ever popular “Album Hour” on the Hillside Stage.

Several artists at Merlefest 2017 were carrying pens and notebooks onstage. You really never know when the muse might strike your fancy.
Peter Rowan’s set list was all over the place and magical.
“Wayfaring Stranger” brought to mind Peter Rowan’s friend and one of the Merlefest regulars Tony Rice.
Peter Rowan sort of just did tunes that he felt like at the Traditional Tent and the crowd just ate it up.
