    Silas House is the nationally bestselling author of several books.  A former contributing editor to No Depression, his work often appears in The New York Times and on Salon, and has been published in Oxford American, Narrative, Blackbird, Newsday, Best American Food Writing 2015, New Stories From the South: The Year's Best 2004, and many other places.  House is also a press kit writer who done publicity for artists such as Lucinda Williams, Lee Ann Womack, Kris Kristofferson, Buddy Miller, and many others.  He lives in Berea, Kentucky.
