Wow, it’s going to be quite a busy couple months coming up! Please check the calendar & save the date for when I’ll be headed your way!! I am especially excited to be able to bring my amazing lead guitarist Brandon Turner with me on the road for much of these shows. He was a big contributor to my new CD and I’m excited for the folks in the northeast, many of whom have only ever seen me solo acoustic to get to witness his talent in person. Of course many of the shows in the southeast will have the full band and those are not to be missed. I feel so lucky to have these great guys to work with.
Really looking forward to returning to Johnstown, PA on August 14. My new CD has a song named for this town and my show there last year was one of my favorites of the whole year.
Also excited about our hometown CD release party in Spartanburg this Saturday, July 16 where we will be joined by artists who have graced stages with two of my biggest influences: Emmylou Harris & The Indigo Girls! For years I had stared at the name “Fayssoux” on my Emmylou records, never knowing that Emmylou’s favorite harmony singer was from right here in Spartanburg! She sang a duet with me on “Anchored in Love” off my new album and will be appearing at our CD Release. Opening for us will be Charleston’s A Fragile Tomorrow, who have toured with The Indigo Girls and even sing on IG’s newest live album “Staring Down the Brilliant Dream”. Hopefully some of their shared stardust will rub off on me! This will be a full band show with Brandon & Jeff and we will have our special guest, Franklin Wilkie, formerly of The Marshall Tucker Band, on bass. Everyone who comes to this show will get a FREE copy of my new CD!
