Billy Strings Announces New Album ‘Turmoil & Tinfoil’

Billy Strings has made a name for himself in the bluegrass community with his fiery live performances and virtuosic musicianship. Now, the talented young guitarist and vocalist is prepping a new album, Turmoil & Tinfoil, due out September 22.
The new collection sees Strings exploring his more psychedelic side, with spoken word, trippy lyrics, and Cthulhu influences all making their way into the mix. Musicians playing on Turmoil & Tinfoil include Bryan Sutton, Miss Tess, Molly Tuttle, John Mailander, Shad Cobb, and Peter Madcat Ruth. Strings’s father Terry Barber also appears on album cut “These Memories of You.” Glenn Brown, known for his work with Greensky Bluegrass, produced the album.
