I was reminded this morning of a moment in Wilco history that continues to divide camps and pull at the heart strings of many fans. The departure/firing of Jay Bennett from Wilco was a turning point for Wilco and the bands creative direction. Some say a welcome exit, others mourn the loss of an excellent songwriter, instrumentalist, producer, and composer. I for one miss the very presence of Jay in the music community as I found his solo material to be under appreciated and full of exceptional musical moments. Maybe share a thought on Jay, Jeff, or the band in general.
