A couple of days ago, I posted video of overdubbing sessions for Blackie & The Rodeo Kings‘ long-planned album of duets, Kings & Queens. The clip showed overdubbing for an Emmylou Harris track, but the full range of who will be appearing on the record has been hush-hush until recently, when the band’s Facebook profile provided details. So according to a photo gallery posted on the website, here’s who sits in with Blackie & Co., and the titles of the songs they’ve contributed.
LUCINDA WILLIAMS sings IF I CAN’T HAVE YOU
AMY HELM sings I’M STILL LOVING YOU
CASSANDRA WILSON sings GOLDEN SORROW
EMMYLOU HARRIS sings STEP AWAY
HOLLY COLE sings BRAVE
ROSANNE CASH sings I’VE GOT YOU COVERED
MARY MARGRET O’HARA sings HEART A MINE
SAM PHILLIPS sings LOVE LAY ME DOWN
SERENA RYDER sings BLACK SHEEP
PAM TILLIS sings MY TOWN IS GONE
Here’s some additional footage of Colin Linden overdubbing Rosanne Cash’s track, “I’ve Got You Covered”
