Blame Sally releases latest CD: Live at Stern Grove Festival
Blame Sally, a San Francisco Bay band consisting for four exceptional women, and now Rob Strom on bass, to round out the stage, is releasing their latest CD, recorded live at Stern Grove Festival in 2009, headlined by the legendary Joan Baez. The CD will be available at live shows and iTunes.
This eight song EP features songs like Hurricane, with Pam Delgado taking the reigns on lead vocals and percussion while Jeri Jones’ steel guitar and slide provide a heavy blues flavor. Monica Pasqual comes in with her signature accordion. Renee Hartcourt accents Hurricane with tambourine and backing vocals. This song is a prime example of the many layers that is Blame Sally.
The Freight and Salvage in Berkeley, CA will house the album release show on Saturday, July 10th. Jill Knight will be the opener. Tickets are available now through the venue.
