• Bluegrass meets Death Metal

    As a guy who has been known to crank up an album like Slaughter of the Soul by Swedish death metal legends At The Gates, I was intrigued to discover Slaughter of the Bluegrass today.

    Quirky covers can be really annoying a high percentage of the time, so I actually pleased to discover that SOTB’s version of Amon Amarth‘s “Twilight of the Thunder God” sounded quite epic, seafaring, and melodic done in a bluegrass style – I actually enjoy it quite a bit.
